Darnall Somali Development Group coordinated various activities under their “Covid Ki Yadein” (Memories of the Pandemic). This included Creative Writing Book, coffee mornings, creative writing workshops, a Commemorating Covid Reflections event, and bespoke sessions with the local faith sector. 

These activities had an aim of bringing different communities together, including people from Roma communities, Somali, Yemeni, Asian / South Asian, White Caucasian, and Black / Afro Caribbean families, many of whom were supported by bilingual volunteers.
