“When people used to cough, people used to stay away from them and slowly retreat back, like they were some wild animal, because they thought they would automatically get killed because of the cough. It happened to me a lot because I’ve got asthma. It made me feel a bit like a sort of outcast, because people were leaving me alone because I coughed, like, once or twice.”
