Project Intake hosted a community event to present ‘Pandemic Stories’ from their community in the S2 area of Sheffield. Complete with light refreshments, a balloon modelling lesson and colouring corner, the event encouraged attendees to bring their own stories, poems and pictures around how people coped during COVID and to share memories of lost loved ones. Representatives from other community groups had tables displaying information at the event, giving the chance for attendees to learn about projects going on in the area and meet others.

Alongside the community event, Project Intake also supported the installation of a ‘Talking Bench’ in Hollinsend Park, with an inscription encouraging people to sit, reflect and talk to each other, as well as small memorial garden.
